I had forgotten all about the awful, fruity iced tea and ordered it again. And AGAIN, they didn't warn me that the iced tea I ordered was passion fruit-flavored. That really should be something they tell you when you order an unsweetened iced tea. It's not just lemon flavored, it's fruity. It is definitely an oversight on their part not to mention that EVERY time an iced tea is ordered. This time I tried the veggie salad bowl, which was really good and very tasty! We had the guac again, and again, it was pretty bland. Their salsa is delicious, though. Definitely make sure to try that. The worst part was the dining experience. With fans blowing everything around, it was slightly uncomfortable to sit inside. And the service was abysmal! Although there was only one other party in the whole restaurant, the servers looked confused every time they came to the table. A woman took our orders and a young man delivered items to our table, only he rarely knew what he was supposed to deliver. We ordered chips and guac, he brought chips and salsa. We asked to have our meals and leftover guac wrapped, he wrapped only the meals. We asked to take our leftover salsa home, he said we could get some on the way out and he would get it for us – he never did. I could understand a bit more if the place was busy, but I've never seen it less empty. What gives? So I decided to give Salsa Salsa another whirl. It's my very favorite place. The salsa sauce is amazing! I typically have the shrimp tacos. Everything is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and fun. The service is fast.
